Join Amber Campion for a transformational retreat to the Caribbean Coast of Colombia, March 6-12, 2025!

We will be spending 6 nights / 7 days at the luxurious Gitana Del Mar retreat center, located on a wild and remote beach at the foothills of the impressive and magical Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta, the world’s highest Coastal Mountain Range. 

This area is referred to as the Heart of the world, not only because of its geographical location, but more importantly because every single ecosystem exists and thrives in the Sierra Nevada mountains. There is no better place to disconnect from the hustle and bustle of everyday life, relax, and recharge.

During your retreat week, Amber will offer daily yoga practices and transformational workshops, to help you deep dive into your practice. This retreat also includes an all levels guided group river tubing excursion to the nearby Don Diego River, as well as a Kogi Spiritual Ceremony. There will be plenty of opportunities to partake in optional activities to help you explore the gorgeous beaches, waterfalls, and mountains of the region. For more info on optional excursions, please click here. 

Gitana Del Mar will provide upscale, boutique accommodations, as well as nourishing, locally sourced meals provided by their fantastic private chef, and optional massage and Ayurvedic spa services. There will also be plenty of time to relax around the resort pool, or hang out on an oceanfront hammock. 

**Airport transfers are NOT included, however, we will provide flight parameters once trip minimums are met, and will help to coordinate them for you. Please budget $10 - $35 cash each way for your transfers, which will be payable to your drivers.

About the Rooms: 

ALL PRICING LISTED BELOW IS PER PERSON.  See below for accommodation packages ranging from budget friendly triples and quads, to more private double and single occupancy rooms. We have a few luxury rooms, too! 

Double occupancy rooms require that you register with a selected roommate. If you are traveling solo and looking for a shared room, please register for a triple or a quad room. 

Payment Plan Info:

You must have a valid passport to travel to the Colombia. Please check your passport expiration date and make sure it is valid for the duration of this trip. A Visa is not required for US Citizens visiting Colombia, unless you are staying for more than 90 days.

The purchase of travel insurance is required for this trip.

Most policies protect you against potential trip delays or cancellations due to airline issues, family emergencies, illness, injury, etc. The travel insurance will also demonstrate to the host country that you are able to pay for any emergency services which may be necessary during your stay.

SolSeed is not authorized to sell travel insurance. Any offer to purchase travel insurance that you encounter during the checkout process are third party offers. All retreats include a $500 non-refundable / non-transferable deposit, which is required to hold your spot on the trip. 

Additional balance payments made are refundable up to 120 days prior to the retreat start date. SolSeed must receive an email at info@solseedretreats.com requesting cancellation prior to 12:00AM on this date in order to secure a refund of additional balances paid. The initial $500 deposit remains non-refundable and non-transferable. All balances paid are non-refundable and non-transferable within 120 days of the retreat start date. 

SolSeed Retreats can only make an exception to these terms if:

1. The host government forbids us to visit as tourists.
2. The host government forbids our vendors from hosting us as tourists.
3. The US government forbids us to travel to the host country as tourists.

If SolSeed must further postpone or cancel the trip for any of the above reasons, all registrants will receive a refund of all deposits paid less $200.

If you refuse to comply with the entry laws of the host country, region, town, etc; SolSeed will not consider this a valid reason for receiving any refund. SolSeed will ensure to the best of their abilities that all registrants comply with all then current laws and regulations.

Arrival Time: Check In at your retreat center, Gitana del Mar begins at 1:00PM, so flights arriving to Simón Bolívar International Airport at and after 11:00AM will allow you to arrive at or after check in.

Note: We will help you to organize yourselves into groups of arrivals for the purpose of sharing ground transportation to Gitana del Mar. We will also assist in arranging and confirming those transfers, but each individual is responsible for paying for the ride in cash (Colombian Pesos). Travel time to Gitana from the Santa Marta Airport is roughly 1.5 hours. See below for estimated costs for this taxi/shuttle service.

Departure Time: Check Out from Gitana del Mar is 11:00AM. Please keep in mind that you have a 1.5 hour drive to arrive at the Santa Marta Airport.

GROUND TRANSPORTATION: 

Once again, we are happy to help everyone organize into groups for arrival, and to assist in the booking of your taxi/shuttle to and from the Santa Marta Airport. Each individual is responsible for the cost of that taxi/shuttle service. Here are estimated costs in US dollars, actual quotes will be provided when confirming the specific service:
