Most folks will arrive after a red-eye flight, and so everyone's rooms are held for an early check in, and a nice nap.

A welcome lunch, and introduction to your team of hosts will commence at 1pm. After lunch, golfers will be shuttled to the course for an opening 9 holes, while non-golfers enjoy a relaxing two hour spa circuit in the sauna, Turkish bath, aromatic shower, and indoor pool.

We'll close this day with an included dinner back at Octant. Our goal is to prove a smooth entry into the week!

18 Holes or Walking Tour of Ponta Delgada + Sightseeing
After breakfast, the golfers will get back in the shuttles and ship out for 18 holes at either Batahla or Furnas. Meanwhile, non-golfers will meet their guide for a walking tour of Ponta Delgada. The tour will include interesting history, beautiful sites, and an insiders take on the best shopping and dining options.

After the morning activities, everyone will meet up to enjoy either a lunch at the golf club house, or at a local restaurant, before doing some sightseeing and visiting a volcanic thermal bath/hot spring!

18 Holes or Guided Hike + Sightseeing
After breakfast, golfers will get back in the shuttles and ship out for 18 holes at either Batahla or Furnas. Meanwhile, the non-golfers will meet their guides for the day, and embark on a beautiful, all-levels hike.

After the morning activities, everyone will meet up to enjoy either a lunch at the golf club house, or at a local restaurant, before doing some sightseeing and visiting a volcanic thermal bath/hot spring!

Breakfast will be served from 7 to 10am, and your designated team of hosts will help you to schedule activities should you please. Options include:

18 Holes of Excursion of Your Choice + Awards Dinner!
Once again, after breakfast at the resort, golfers will load up for 18 holes at either Batalha or Furnas. Unlike the previous days of 18 holes, after golf, there is nothing scheduled until dinner!

Shuttles are included back the resort after golf, and again you may sign up for tours, or simply head into Ponta Delgada for some exploration and a nice lunch.

Non-golfers will partake in an "Excursion of their Choice", selected from a carefully curated list of options presented by the onsite concierge team. From adventurous canyoning, to relaxing ceramics or cooking class, there are choices for all sorts of travelers.

In the evening, we'll host a closing award dinner, where golfers and non-golfers will be honored for the relevant, and irreverent accomplishments over the week!

Check out... but first...??
Breakfast is again included from 7 to 10am. Everyone must have their bags out of their rooms by the standard noon check out time, but the resort will happily store your luggage if your flight off the island falls in the afternoon or evening.

Once again, there is time for your 'bonus round' of golf, or more exploration.

Your hosts will schedule you an included taxi from the resort back to the airport at which time you need it.

Awesome trip! Very professional, yet easy going and fun. Grace and Alex were accommodating and attentive to our needs. The only downside was that we ALL had stomach bugs either at the very end of the trip or when we got home despite being careful about not drinking the water.

The food, yoga, company and accommodations (although the beds weren't comfortable) were all great. I would have like to know in advance just how remote it was...it was really a deterrent to get down that 20 minute dirt road, wifi was spotty and the power went out a few times. And Bocas del Toro wasn't a very nice place overall. I feel like for David's audience...which was mostly 50 or over, Bocas wasn't a great fit.

This trip was thoughtfully and well organized, and everything within SolSeed’s control was handled with care and professionalism. Unfortunately, I was ill for part of the trip and wasn’t able to participate in the excursions, so I can’t fairly rate that aspect. We also experienced a lot of rain during our stay, which limited beach and pool time — not anyone’s fault, but still a bit disappointing. That said, the on-site staff were incredibly attentive and supportive throughout, and the massage therapist was truly exceptional — one of the highlights of my experience. The food was delicious, and the chefs were very accommodating and clearly put a lot of heart into what they do. Overall, while this particular trip had some challenges, my appreciation for SolSeed and the care they put into their retreats remains strong.

If you enjoy the sounds of crashing waves as you sleep, long sandy beaches, rustic comfortable clean casita lodging, exquisitely delicious fresh meals, surrounded by lush vegetation, sloths and monkeys, then the retreat in Panama on Bocas Del Toro at the Bluff Beach Lodge is for you! Oh and yoga outside in an elevated wooden structure with a sea breeze flowing through .... what's not to love! It was an amazing week. Feeling refreshed, reenergized and ready to make 2026 another great year!

Fabulous experience! This trip really had everything! Very well planned and organized. Ismail was the best guide I've had in years. He was so personable, funny, thoughtful, and knowledgeable. I learned so much from him. The Riad in Marrakesh was fantastic. The staff there was amazing. We didn't want to leave. All guides and services were top notch. Everyone was so professional and accommodating. I would highly recommend this trip and would go again! Exceptional experience.
